Sue Ryder Care takes to the catwalk to raise vital funds

30 July 2008

Volunteers and staff from Sue Ryder Care – Nettlebed Hospice sashayed up and down the catwalk at this year’s Retirement Show in London Olympia on 18 and 19 July to help raise vital funds for the hospice in Henley-on-Thames.

The models, aged 27 to 79 years, showcased clothing and accessories - kindly donated from supporters of Sue Ryder Care - themed into four separate categories; summer season, smart-casual, evening wear and the grand finale. Steve Taylor, Director of Marketing and Communications at Sue Ryder Care compered the proceedings and all the designer-inspired outfits will be available to purchase at Nettlebed’s popular Sales after the show. All money raised from the Sales help Sue Ryder Care - Nettlebed continue to deliver expert and compassionate care to people living with far advanced, life limiting conditions including cancer.
