Volunteer Forum - 'Giving Volunteers a Voice

Leckhampton Court held its first Volunteer Forum on the 22 October.

The aim of the forum was to give the people who volunteer at the Hospice an opportunity to come together, voice opinions, discuss the future of volunteering, raise ideas and meet other volunteers. The event was really well attended with a great volunteer representation from all the departments. Important feedback was given from the volunteers, some fantastic ideas were put forward and new friendships were made over cakes and the card stall. The cards were kindly brought along by fundraising volunteers, husband and wife team Pam & Ken Howe, they make all of the goods they sell and any profits go to the Hospice.

We are looking forward to the next successful forum, which will be held at Leckhampton Court Hospice on the 22 January 2009 between 6-8pm all volunteers will be very welcome.
