Christmas Fundraising

How will you be getting in to the Christmas spirit this Yuletide?

You could help Sue Ryder Care this Christmas by taking part in some fun festive activities in the workplace or with your friends. All the money you raise will go towards our services helping people who are seriously ill this Christmas in their homes, in our hospices and care centres.

Try out some of our fundraising ideas!

1. Card Amnesty

Don’t send cards to your colleagues this Christmas. Display one of our posters, ask people to write their message to everyone on it and make a donation to Sue Ryder Care instead.

2. Hamper Raffle

Place a hamper in your reception area and ask friends, suppliers and local businesses to donate goodies like chocolate, cakes and champagne to fill it. Sell raffle tickets and donate the proceeds to Sue Ryder Care.

3. Secret Santa

Hold a secret Santa and ask everyone to spend a pound less on the gift which they can donate to Sue Ryder Care.

4. Festive dress

Encourage everyone in your office to dress up and don furry antlers, Christmas hats, tinsel - or even an elf, snowman or Santa outfit! Pay £2 – or even more not to.

5. Shopping time

Auction a half day in aid of Sue Ryder Care and the highest bidder will receive time off work to get their Christmas shopping done minus the crowds.
