Doncaster 5k Road Race

Taking place in the town centre of Doncaster, this event offers an opportunity to everyone interested in taking up running. The event takes place in the evening of Wednesday 16th July 2008, with a 1 mile Family Fun Fun starting at 7pm open to all ages from tiny tots to glamorous grannies!

The more serious running starts at 7:30 with a 3 lap 5k Road Race along the same route as the Family Fun Run, first the Vets Category for women over 35 and Men over 40, then at 8pm the Open Race starts.

There are prizes available in all categories, with £100 awarded to the first in the Open Race.  However, if you’re running for Sue Ryder Care then it’s the taking part that counts and we’ll be there at the finish to thank you for taking part.
